
The Health and Social Services Department at Swords to Plowshares, known as the Frontline Drop-in Center, offers a variety of services to all veterans. We provide veterans with the help they need to become self-sufficient by working closely with partner community organizations and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
We help veterans with all their needs, both large and small. Some of the many free services offered at the Frontline Drop-in Center include:
- Social Services
- Case management and community service referrals
- Emergency housing, eviction prevention and community stabilization
- Mental health services, substance abuse counseling and treatment referrals
- Financial services
- Benefits advocacy, Social Security and SSI
- Assistance with MediCal health plan services
- Transportation assistance and vouchers
- Meal vouchers
- Mail and phone services
ALL veterans are welcome at Swords to Plowshares regardless of length of service or discharge status.
Drop-in hours:
Monday - Friday: 9-5 PM.
*We are closed for staff lunch break from 12-1 PM daily*
